Default Will this cause check engine light to come on.

If you are talking about where they hack the piece off of the EGR tube for better flow, no, there is no check engine light.

NO. If you do this EGR mod, leave the EGR valve connected and zip tied to your fuel rail untill you can fork out the cash to tune it out(usually 75 bucks to delete codes)

Check engine, SES light whatever, you get what I'm saying! Yes I was talking about hacking off a piece then bolting back together.No light??

why dont you just remove the whole system and do what I said earlier????

No light, as long as you get a good seal on the intake when you reinstall the pipe.

Just take off the whole EGR and A.I.R system dont do that crap. This will also clean up the bay to.

The place that installed my headers took care of this. There was no extra charge over the install price of the headers. They removed both my AIR and EGR systems.

But unless you are installing headers, there's no point to removing them. They will not add any performance by removing them. It only cleans up the engine bay. So unless you are installing headers, don't worry about it.
