Default Are my tires Fk'd up ?

ive had my used e/t streets, w/ life still in them, on for about 2 weeks and they have deflated a little ... i dont really drive on them i just had em on because i was goin to the track and it rained..Are my tires Fk'd up or do they tend to do this? i had put them on with 20 psi... thanks

it is not uncommon for them to leak down over time if they were installed without tubes

umm i dont know if they were installed without tubes ...but i know that got that lil needle **** to put air in it if thats what you mean... they just put the tires on the rims for me at the tire shop..

Yes, that's completely common w/o tubes(sounds like you don't have tubes).


Don't worry about it. My tires will lose up to 5-7lbs over a couple weeks time.


Also, it is even worse when you first install the tires on the rim, and don't drive them, giving them a chance to seal. A good burnout, and day at the track usually will seat them really well.

What you described is perfectly normal with slicks/ET streets

rubber has pores....tires leak just some slower than others...all slicks without tubes will lose air over a short period.

I hate tubes personally. I even run tires screwed to the rim with no tubes. To me, tubes should be a last possible option.

It doesn't hurt to throw a little air in them every time you go to the track anyways, so it doesnt bother me

you probably need to bring them to discount tire to look at the sealent, they'll do it for free, my bro's tires were doin the same thing
