Just curious if the mirror from chevrolet pickups could be installed in our TA's? The one with the digital compass and temperature guage, I would love to have that mirror that is in the chevrolet's... just curious if this would be an easy install on a 00 TA.

What I want is the whole unit from the honda ridgelines, they have 3 buttons to open like a gate/garage etc, I have a use for 2 of the buttons!

they are sold on ebay with the sensors. i was considering doing this as well. they are made by gentek so look around for them.

I'm interested as well. I have a similar setup in my Dakota (dd) and whenever I drive my Z28 I find myself glancing up to find the digital thermometer or compass- doh!. I want this for my Z as well.

Is there a cheaper alternative than a gentek? Personally, I've always felt 200+ for a mirror seemed a little much. Although I'd really love a compass/temp mirror. Kind of wondering why GM didn't have them in from the factory.

the f-body interior is kinda outdated. i have been updating the interior slowly. that mirror will come eventually.
