Question What Should I Get???

Here are my choices and my car is pretty much stock(see sig below). I just cant decide what to get. Cosmetic vs. Performace. Rims & Tires can benifit both but the others are in thier own catagory. I will be able to afford one thing this month, What should I get first.

-SS hood/paint
-Headers/exhuast
-Rims/tires
-Intake & throttle body


Or something else thanks

I also have a nice auto meter 5inch with shift light i need to sell if you know someone who wants one .. thanks for your help

i would work on looks later, but that is just me, lt's/intake...sleeper effect

headers and exhaust. Its going to be the most improvement. Performance wise. But def let your next mod be tires. If you dont got a good set underneath you then you will be in trouble. Fuzion zr1's are great tires. and cheap. Its what i run and plenty of other people do as well. Fuzion makes a cheaper brand but same technology and tread pattern called daytona's i think. Its about a hundred bucks cheaper. Then after this maybe buy rims or something.

Headers and exhaust. Or manifold and tb...You will enjoy the loudness, or more power more than a hood or even wheels at this time.

Headers and exhaust. Hands down the best bang for that buck.

Another vote for headers/exhaust... biggest bang for the buck.

id have to agree with headers/exhaust, but its up to you dude, what do you care about more? having a good lookin ride that looks fast, or have a good lookin ride that is fast? either way the hood and everything else will come with time, get some ***** under the hood before you replace it, just my $.02

thanks for all your help guys. My Z does look badass like it is..ill get that stuff later.. But im stuck between exhuast and ls6 intake now. I think im might opt for the intake since its a real good deal

I think ill just get a cut out on stock exhuast for right now..till my bank fills back up a little from Christmas and stuff

Its not soo much the catback that would be killing the car if you got the intake manifold. The stock exhaust manifolds for 98-00 (00 if I remember correctly) arent that good, so youll get more air in, but bottleneck it coming out. The exhuast is the best deal.

it is the 98-99 manifolds that are relatively ineffecient, the 00-02 are styled like a shorty header that is why shorties are a waste of money on 00+, get the intake and catback!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

your car looks really good! I would go with performance first. most LS1's will spin/smoke any tire.

i would say go with the intake, headers, and catback exhaust!! dont worry bout the hood or rims.. atleast your rims are blingin..

I guess I must have gotten a bad set of fuzion's because mine are terrible. I swear i've never had such bad traction in my life. However I agree, tires will be one of your most important mods, because what good is all that power if you can't get it to the ground?

+1 on the Fuzion ZRi's!! Best tire I've bought for this car yet.
