Default Wierd Misfire

I was wondering if anyone would have any idea on why my car would be doing this. I have an 01 Z-28 A4 and whenever it shifts at WOT it stumbles for about three seconds...I was thinking maybe 02 sensosr or MAF... it finally set the check engine light flashing and then it stuck... when I checked it said Random Multiple cylinder misfire...any thoughts appreciated?

Not really. It just stumbles and misfires for a few seconds. It only does it going from the high RPMs back down.If I keep my foot in it it would clear out and pick back up or if I let out right at the shift and then get back in it it will stay clear...

Really I don't know what all has been done. It looks like it has a catback and cutouts but that is about it. The idiot that owned it berfore me thought it would be a good idea to drill holes in the lid to let more air flow in(unfiltered air) so I am kinda nervous what else he has done to it... It also kicks way harder than any Camaro I have ever been in and he reset the shift points to around something ridiculous like 6400-6500 RPM... I am terrified to let it rap up that high I just don't think it can be good on the engine...

I changed the filter and it seems ok.. as far as o2s can I just pull them out and clean them or should I just change them? They are the originals and it has about 73000 on it.
