Exclamation Washing out cylinders

I have a 98 camaro z28 6speed. I have found that my front o2 sensors have took a dump. I have been driving it like this for a week(waiting on my paycheck). Will this wash out my cylinders. I don't drive it hard 3grand shift outs. Should I be worried. I will have them replaced on the 13th. Will it hold together.

When the car is in open loop. Will it still run like normal. After a while it will clear up and begin to run fine, just untill I turn it off and restart it...like after I come out of a store or something like that.

I've herd that you can swap rear O2's with the front ones as the rear set is just for emmisions.
Just double check with a shop or someone else before you go ahead...

It will probably throw a code in regaurds to a failed O2, but it'll help you out till the funds come in and keep the car running smooth and the milage in check.

IIRC (I havent had rear O2's for a long time), the connector/harness is different for the front and back.

Are you sure about that? I had to make my own extensions when i put my ls1 into my s10 and i used one of the rear o2 harness conectors with a front sensor and it pluged right in. same with the sensor plug. It pluged right into the rear connector being a front sensor.

There is a slight difference not major. Its only the ranges it reads, voltage, heater circuit, etc etc, if u look they have A1 or A2 stamped on them or some odd combonation of numbers

On the connector to the O2 sensor its self, or the O2 has a differnet connector?

All of my O2's were the same part number with the same connection type

Maybe I misunderstood what Sharpe ment...?
