LS1 Roadmap for upgrades
I am not new to forums but new to this one. I have built 3 projects cars now:
1970 Chevelle Matching numbers block 350 converted to FI run on standalone ~380 WHP cruiser DD for a year.
1999 Neon Turbo Running standalone 334WHP/345TQ Road Racer DD for the last 4 years(but barely livable with high spring rates and catless/mufflerless/solid motor mounts etc). By far the fastest of the 3 wieghing in at 2450 with me and 12 gallons of gas.
Triumph TR7 w/5.0 Mustang dropped in, fun but not all that fast compared to the other two. Great canyon car!!
I was just wondering if there is a basic upgrade path for the LS1 motors? The first two cars I did had write ups on basic upgrade paths and a TON of information all neatly available in one little thread. Does such a thing exist on these forums and I just missed it?

I'm sure there is.
Something along the lines of:
-Free Mods
-Lid
-Exhaust
-Intake
-Gears
-Tires
-Rear end
-Nitrous
-Cam
-Heads
-MOOOORE NITROUS!
-Tranny
-Turbo
-Everything else that can **** up the motor
-New motor
Not necessarily that order, but you can paint the picture...

The search button first, because this has been asked 11etny billion times, then also ready the sticky threads. Here is a good sticky thread:
LS1TECH > WELCOME TO LS1TECH > New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech
So You Wanna Be Fast...
...and read this reply in that thread:
A simple mod guide for beginners – what to do first
Peace,

start from the bottom up, bolt ons - then suspension, trans, rear, then motor to out run those PoPO's. Although I did learn my car is fast, its not faster than those Motorolas they carry
