Default Hp Gain?

I just had my car dynoed at 325rwhp last week. This is with ls6 intake, pacesetter lt's, ory, corsa catback, 373's, 3400 stall, slp flow pac, slp maf, ported throttle body. I thinking of putting a tr230 cam and getting it retuned. What hp am I looking at after.

Your hp seems kinda low even through a auto.

I said the same exact thing. I dont know why so low cuz my car only has 21000 miles and its a 02 ss. So it should run pretty strong compared to the earlier models.

Your converter is throwing off the dyno numbers. See what it runs at the track.

a stalled auto will dyno about 10hp less then a non stalled auto. add gears and its even lower. m6's love dyno's so dont compare stalled auto #s with m6#s

your numbers seem about right for your mods

So a stall can take off 10rwhp from dynoing a automatic. Dang, I did not know that. So I shouldnt be ashamed by my results. Thats good to hear.

I am pretty sure it depends on the efficency of the converter. A friend of mine had is car dynoed (99 Formula) with a few boltons and made 325whp and then when he put the stall in, it was just over 305 I believe.

H.P. #'s don't mean **** in an auto!! Just used for tuning.. With all bolt ons and a PTC 3600stall converter my car made 308rwhp ( I made 335rwhp before the converter) but ran a 12.60 @ 108 mph 1.74 60ft I don't know what it'll run with the new setup yet because I keep breaking **** but the car made 423rwhp through a slipping tranny. Installed the new tranny and a new 12bolt is on the way.

That is meant to be flywheel hp! Some cars make more power than others.

kind of funny how they throw out those SAE gross flywheel hp numbers, Like they give the EPA predicted fuel mileage estimates, that are gathered from controlled enviromental conditions.your actual mileage may vary. do ya think?
