I broke my 10 bolt it had 50,000 on it. fixed it and in no time it broke again. fixtd the pisi again with a new one and withing a month bowed the housing and snapped an axle and blew the posi out again. I bet you could have bought a 2002 camaro new off the lot and in less than 50 miles have it blown up... if you tried

Should lay 2 strips from the moment you break traction. If you can see only a single strip for any longer than an inch then you have an issue.
Just because it's not making any weird noises doesn't mean the LSD or posi as its called is not dead. If you have a clutch type auburn posi, then simply the clutch packs in it are gone. If it's a torsen, the worm gears would have shattered and it'd be making a lot of noise.
Time to get it inspected and repaired.

They all have limited slips. I've got the auburn and it seems when its cold I'll get the one wheel peel, or grab a one wheeler coming out of a fishtail. Other times it will hold posi for 150 feet. I'm sure its not long for the world but a good tight ten bolt is not garbage. I've seen them lift a tire.
