Default Tuner between neworleans and Lafayette

Who are you guys using for tuning between these locations. I can drive the car their. I live in Lafayette but have family in neworleans which is were I'm from. Car is a 02 formula with a eps cam headers and full exhaust I have a friend who has hp tuners. We play with the idle and got the car idleing and driving and that's it. Hes tuning his car on the street with it but I really don't know enough about this stuff yet to be messing with all that and would rather bring it to someone that can get it right. Just looking to see who you guys are using to get them right?

Yeah, car sat there for a few weeks without being tuned. Got tired of it and took it to another shop.

That speaks volumes. I have a friend with a stroked 93 lt1 car that's been over their for months. They keep saying something's wrong wit the computer and now are trying to hit him for 3k to swap some other computer and harness in it. Idk if this is legit or not. I figured they were just having issues with his car. Looks like maybe a pattern here.

Just give Futral a call or send an email to charley@futralmotorsports.com, mention my name and they will get you straightened out.

You can't flash tune a 93 LT1 car. It still has the batchfire system like the 3rd gen TPI cars. It has a chip style pcm. Burning chips is a thing of the past. Your best bet would be to go with an OBDII LT1 computer which would be the 95-97 computers or go with eficonnection.com and you will have an LS1 computer and coil near plug like an LS1.

Call Geoff@EPS he will recommend the same things I just told you.

You will find your experience with Geoff to be most rewarding, at least 1 of the other tuners recommended in this thread could **** up a lawnmower. Tell him it's a long drive and u want the foam cannon treatment

Got the car over their yesterday. Turned out great. Car drives like stock. Feels real good. Put down 380hp 373tq. Cam and headers only with 3.73. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Geoff really knows what's going on with these cars. When I'm ready for more mods I'll be bringing the car back over their. Just can't say enough about how happy I am with the way the car turned out and the numbers it put down. Time to get it to the track and see what kinda times I can get.
