Default 2 step and Nitrous

How they hell are you guys leaving the line...Im wanting to spray off the line obviously. Is ok to activate the 2 step when the tree lights up..which is only about 1sec. Will this hurt my motor?

My options are:

1.activate the 2 step and nitrous when the tree hits the 2nd light
l2.ock out first gear and leave at 6k+
3.set the 2 step at 4500 which wont bet WOT and hence not activate the spray

How are you activating the 2 step? You can wire the N2O activation to the 2 step, as soon as it comes off you'll be spraying.

Mine is a synergy. Push a button, push in the clutch and mash the gas. If activating the 2-step and nitrous at the same time wont hurt the motor ill go that route.

It would probably be a 20 minute job to wire your N2O master arm into the button for the 2 step. Or wire a normally closed WOT to the clutch.

Or you could just set to 2-step for 2800 rpm's, and a window switch for 3100 rpm's.

That won't work with a 6 speed. I will cause a bog and result in a backfire.

i mat the throttle with the spray comin on at 3600 rpm on and then side step the clutch usually between 6000 to 6500 rpms. but you gotta make sure u have the drivetrain to handle it. i've cut 1.40's 60 foots with a 150 hit and cut pretty decent lights too. but it takes practice....

You have to wire it so that when the 2-step is activated your nitrous solenoids are not receiving any power, but when you let go of your 2-step button it sends power to the solenoids thus spraying the nitrous. You can go with a relay too. This way you will never be able to spray if your holding down the 2-step button.

Also this may help a little more than i can explain it. I know your stick so instead of the trans brake that will be like the button you have.

You should be able to pick one up at any auto parts store.

I use a harlen 2 step with a timing tunner to pull timing and for nos delay. It all works great together. As for your drivetrain. Be ready to break **** if your a stick. I had to switch to a set of pro gears because I blew the street gears apart in my 12 bolt after about 20 hard launches in the 1.45- 1.49 range

eh got the 9in..if things break.oh well lol. As for the relay..how the hell do you know what goes where.. Im completely ignorant to they way these lil bad boys work. Just hooked them up per instructions lol. Also do i need a 4 blade, 5 blade? If it rains next week then obviously I wont be hitting the track and Ill just send it back to synergy to be reworked for nitrous in which it will keep power from the noids till the 2 step deactivates when the clutch is out.

Talk to Rich @ Synergy.

I have one of his boxes and I have a stick as well. I set my window switch and the 2 step manually in the box. I have a three buttons dealing with the 2 step and the N2O: 2 step activation (which is a one time switch) , N2O activation (that is one off with the switch) , then the purge (momentary).
Activate the N2O, activate the 2 step, mat the gas and spark/plugs are cut off at the desired RPM, and launch. I have the 2 step tripped with a button on my shifter. I have to activate the 2 step and hold the button down to get it to cut spark while matted. When I'm ready to launch, let go of the button and the N2O hits. No N2O is released until the button is let go. So the button cuts spark and cuts the N2O until let go.
