What RPM are you guys starting to spray at???
As of now I am running a 100 wetshot via an FJO Progressive controller. I currently have the shot coming in at 3,000rpm's @25% and ramping up to 4,000rpm's @100% all the way across to about 100rpms before the tranny shifts.
I am not new to nitrous at all. I have built many cars with nitrous and other power adders but find that as I am in this longer the more conservative I get. I want a little outside opinion on this matter. Would you consider the current way I have configured the progressive controller to be too conservative or what? This is assuming I have the traction to hook the power of course.

You should be fine getting all 100 in at 3k, assuming you have traction of course, but ramping it up will make it slightly easier on the motor, although hard on the noids, but noids are creaper to rebuild than motors, lol

I start at 3500 with 50% on a 100, or 25% on the 200. I then ramp up to 100% in a 1 second interval. This is all on my 383 stroker.

I spray 150 at 3000... I think that if you need a progressive controller for a 100 shot then something else needs attention. Like suspension and or tires.

my old 96 383 combo was 200 shot @ 3000 ( ET Drags ) 1.38 60ft
dad's 01 Z H/C/I 150 shot is 4000 ( radials ) 1.46 60ft and we plan to work that down more this next season
my new setup will start at 5000 rpm since the converter hits pretty hard NA. The addition of the Nitrous Outlet plate will greatly add to that, so I want to be safe and not be on the bumper the first hit
but there really is no set area other then I suggest 3000 being the min. I have always played with my cars or customer cars to get it down the track. There are many people out there with limited suspension mods, so a window switch or progressive controller becomes there means of getting it down the track.
