Well if the NOS gives you hard time, try a different brand

I have put nitrous on some pretty high milage cars. As long as the car was maintenced correctly and its not burning oil you are probably fine. You could do a compression test and leak down test just to be 100 percent certain the engine is in ok shape.

If something does break you can think of it positively "Hey I needed to rebuild the motor anyway"

I sprayed 2 stages for a total of 225hp last season with 130k miles. Stock rods, stock pistons, and stock rod bolts.

If the motor is in good condition, you'll be good to go.

Guys, I understand the hesitation. The best piece of advice I can give is become an informed user and use the added safety benefits found in most accessory kits on the market today. Generally if you know what you're doing, you're usually smart enough to know limitations and can be the judge of the overall picture that's going on. We provide quite a bit of information in our install manual and we really encourage those that buy the systems to read over it and not just throw it in the dumpster. If any of you guys have any questions, by all means feel free to ask us. Thanks.

Nick

Let me know if you have any questions on how to do a leak down and compression test.
