n2o not activating, TPS volts??
Took my car to the track yesterday and only got two runs in because of rain. First run the nitrous only sprayed in 3rd gear? Second run it didnt spray at all.
I have a dynotune window switch and ive got the TPS tapped into right @ the sensor. The window switch is only reading 4.4 volts @ 100% throttle. Could this be why its not activating? Should I just wire in a WOT switch instead of going off of the TPS?

I noticed a possible issue when I set up my window switch. Not sure if your is the same but I am running the Dual Switch from Nitro Daves and when I was setting it up you are supposed to allow the switch the calculate WOT voltage by snapping the throttle back while running. If I performed this step from the engine bay and did it by hand my voltage read 8.5v. If I did it with the accelerator pedal from within the vehicle the tps would only reach 8.44v. So if I did not check it before I tried to run it the switch would of never read WOT. Just a thought.

Interesting. My owners manual says to do it with the engine off unless you have Drive By Wire.
I set my TPS volts to 4.1 on the window switch, it seems to be activating like it should now.
Just wondering if 4.4 volts WOT is normal?

with the car running or just the key turned fwd mine read the same voltage. I think mine read 4.45 or somewhere around there. Are you using the gear lockout feature? If so probably a stupid question but are you making sure the car see's redline before hitting 2nd? Theres a few reasons it wouldnt spray and kinda hard to pin point from the info so far, but it sounds like you got it working again anyway

Check your throttle cable.... Between the cuise/traction control box (I think thats what it is) and the throttle body you have the clip looking thing.. Sometimes that pops off and your not at 100% WOT as its lettign your cable slide.. It has happened to me a few times, I recently did it and put a zip tie on it to keep it from popping it off.
If you pop the clip off youll see what I am talking about.
But, I am not sure if 98's have it.

Yeah I dont have traction control. But i'll try that second stage thing you mentioned. I know my second stage is set to something else, I dont use it so I just left it alone.

So technically when it asks you to go wide open for a second so the window switch will know what voltage to look for to activate, you could go only half or 3/4 throttle and it will save that voltage reading. So when it sees that voltage(3/4 throttle) again it should activate.
