will 1 7/8 headers help?
On a 346" motor with lots of n2o...300hp or so. I may be buying new headers. Would going bigger help? What brand? What do you guys think of Thunders race header?
I have FLP's now that the egr tubes are broken off and they ae getting old and beat up.
Would have made a 9 second pass friday night if it werent for the EGR breaking off. Ran a 10.12@133.
Thanks for any input,
Shawn

Yes the headers will help. I changed a set of 1 3/4 headers on the dyno to Kooks 1 7/8 and the car made 10rwhp more on the motor and made 37rwhp more on the exact same shot of nitrous. This was just a 150 shot as well. So i'm sure your gains would be even more with a big 300 shot. If you change get nothing but kooks.
