Default pic of one of my better nitrous launches

http://www.ls6.net/misc/low-wheelsup.jpg

i think this was the 1.54 pass. i have a bunch of them where it almost had the wheels in the air. with the bmr drag sway bar and the madman lca's and my pinion angle right, it didnt seem to want to snap the tires up like before.

Nice pic Brian! I like the BMR bar a lot. Stiffens things up and makes the car vey predictable. No more slosh. Just leaves hard and tracks straight.

What size rear tires are those. I'm guessing 28 x ?? That is a nice lookin launch. I cut some 1.58's all the time but My wheels have yet to leave the surface. Looks really close tho. Thats Awesome.

28x13.5's

last year on the tnt kit with 27's it would yank the driver wheel way up, but now that it leaves straight and even, its alot hard to get them in the air.

Brian, do you have your front sway bar on, or "!" ? I have mine off now, it leaves wheels up, more so on drivers side, but think maybe put the front back on to counter it, and make em even out a little, at elast until I get the Rear Drag bar.

Nice pic, waiting for a daylight race here.

Charlie.

charlie, the front sway bar is gone. the bmr extreme drag rear sway bar keeps the car straight and even. when i was running the stock one with no air bag in the right rear, it would twist over and snap the driver wheel up about 6 or 8 inches. since the bmr has gone on, its really hard to get them in the air. i was really hoping for a 1.49 60 foot since i have never been in the 1.4's. maybe spring will bring me something nice!

thanks guys for the props on my ride!

I had a 1.49 on the motor at the Thunder race with the BMR bar and 26" Et Streets The BMR bar is a good investment, although it makes the car a little squirrely on the street

Any body roll in the rear is eliminated. The rear is much stiffer. So if you blip the throttle while turning, it is much easier to break the tires loose. But in defense, when they break loose, the car is much more predictable.

What size wheel is that on...15x10? And did you have your 9" narrowed or minitub it to get the 13.5's on there. I've got the M/T 28x11.5 now but that 13.5 looks badass. I gotta go bigger.

they are on a 9.75 inch bogart. all we did was cut the bump stop off and used the bfh and dented the inside of the fender some.

I agree, I went through the same thing. With the stock sway bar in w/ the airbag, the driver front side would come up about 6-8". Once I installed the BMR swaybar, the car leaves straight, if it yanks the tires it's only abou 4-6" and it does it evenly. FWIW my 1.36 60' didn't yank the tires one bit!
