how much spray for 9s
Well My car runs decent NA 11.6s @119(first time out), and still needs alot of suspension and some weight loss. After that I dont think low 11 high 10s are out of the question. My question is how much spray will I need to run single digits?
Ill be buying an N20outlet kit wich is adjustable up to 50-200 and upgradeable to 400hp. Think that kit with a nice stand alone fuel system with race gas would do it?
Thanks
Mike

If you are saying that high 10s are feasible for your car on motor with more suspension and weight loss correct? With that being said I think a 150 shot would put you right on 9s, 175 max if that doesn't do it. Not to undermine your knowledge but research like crazy on the Nitrous forum for tuning and race gas combos. Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. The car went 11.6 on stock shocks and springs all around, only leaving at 5k and spinning to a 1.68 60ft and spun real bad 1-2nd shift. I think alot higher launch and a dead hook will help a ton. Once I get that worked out and pull some more crap out. I think 10s are possible with great weather.
Speedinc will dyno tune the car for spray, and I will have all the little safety stuff done.

Achotrod, what did your car dyno? dynojet sae corrected if possible? What have you done so far to lose weight? I'm just trying to see if my car with my m6 is possible to hit 11.7's. Thanks.

id say 225-250 to get into the 9s.. and same weigh reduction and suspension,, getting the car to low 10s is not that hard, but once you are trying to get into the 9s is a different story...

It takes a hell of alot more than you guys think to make a car run 9's. It's not near as simple as spraying a 200 shot on any 11 sec. car to do it. Especially a 6 speed. How many of the guys giving advice have ran 9's? Ok, how about 9's with a 6 speed? Everything is easy on paper, it's when you actually get it to the track when reality sets in.
Put an auto with a decent converter in it and with a 200 shot I'll bet it still wouldn't run 9's.

What about with my setup? Fully built 408 iron block, moser 9 inch, built 6 speed, and a 150 or 200 shot) Does anybody think that with my setup that i am capable of making mine a 9 second car? On the to do list i have some suspension parts to get first and a little weight reduction.. and i just put some fresh MT ET streets on. BTW i have yet to get my car to the track to get any kind of numbers yet i have been awaiting some tires but i think i should easily be a high 10 sec car on motor. What do yall think?
