I have an ls1 car that everyone thinks is weak sauce with only 415 rwhp and 360rwtq, but that's through a stalled auto with a 9" so you are making good numbers.... I say a 150 should get you there

It takes a hell of alot more than you guys think to make a car run 9's. It's not near as simple as spraying a 200 shot on any 11 sec. car to do it. Especially a 6 speed. How many of the guys giving advice have ran 9's? Ok, how about 9's with a 6 speed? Everything is easy on paper, it's when you actually get it to the track when reality sets in.
Put an auto with a decent converter in it and with a 200 shot I'll bet it still wouldn't run 9's.

I agree!! Sure there are guys that have done it,but they are the exception and not the rule. Running 9's on the internet is easy...doing it at the track is a completely different thing. When you post up that 9.9x time slip then we believe that you achieved that goal.

I dont know what your race weight is, but my car runs consistant 11.00s on the motor and with a 150 hit and the nitrous daves plate i went 9.56 @ 140.66 mph. But i have all the nescesary suspension parts. Granted i dont have Heat, or AC and i have kirkys plus all the tubular k member and suspension i am problably sitting a little lighter then you. Allso took a good solid year to get the supsension dialed in to make it a solid 9.50 car every pass! Good luck the faster you go the more you have to tweak with **** cause the faster you get the harder it is to get faster!

UPDATE. Since I started this thread. I put in a new cam, full suspension, and bought the N2o outlet plate kit, Nano, MSD dig 6, stand alone fuel system, and all the n2o accessories you can think of. Now I just need to install the system and wait for spring to start dialing it all in.
Wish me luck!!
