did i miss the explosion? looked like a fuel line came loose or broke and the car just lit on fire

1 full minute before anyone killed the battery...amazing.

I don't think this had much to do with nitrous...I would suspect fuel which could have lead to other things.

i think that took place at I-40 dragway in tennesee. the nitrous solenoid stuck open while purging through the motor. the fuel in the carb was burning before it went into the motor in the oxygen rich atmosphere.

it is very easy to screw up if you dont pay attn. we put a kit on a guys car (his kit) . he went to the track and made a pass and when he came down the return road it was idleing kinda high. we had put an ignition kill switch in the car at the same time and told him to always spin it over before turning the ignition on. he didnt listen very well. got ready to go for the next pass, jumps in the car and turns the key and just about deafened everybody near him. had a small aluminum sliver from inside the bottle made it all the way to the solenoid and held the plunger open.
