z06 goes Lean.... Very LEAN
2001 z06 car made 455rwhp and 405rwtq with 228 232 cam and afr 215 heads, and a ported fast 92,
any one know the Limitations of stock Fuel pump in a 2001 z06?
i was attempting to spray a 125 wet HSW plate off the rail, but the AFR went to like 15:1 and i only gained 50 hp, any one have any idea.... why?
im guessing maxing out the fuel pump, but i would have thought i would have been able to make a little more..

Stock pump is good for 450-480ish rwhp.
I don't think you want to take any chances by spraying even a 50 shot till you upgrade your fuel system.
Did they hook up a fuel pressure gauge during the dyno run?

28* but i have the lingenfelter box set to -7
i replaced the pump with a 255 in tank, that should take care of the trick.
plugs are tr55s but i have the br7efs and thoose are going in

I have an 03 Z06 with a stock fuel system except for 60lb injectors. I am having no lean issues at all running a 100 shot wet kit (510 rwhp total) based on the wideband and the A/F during the dyno pulls.

test your setup with the nitrous bottle closed, if the fuel solinoid is working properly it sould go ubber rich when kit actvates.

i tried testing the system without the nitrous line plugged in, and it really doesnt seem like it makes much of a differance when i spray the fuel or not, it's not like the car goes SUPER Rich.
i'm thinking maybe for some reason the fuel isnt spraying

i disagree. my stock 2003 with bolt ons and a dry 125 shot makes about 500 to the tires. stock injectors on spray run at 116% duty cycle and its been like this for about 5 years.
