Default Need N20 gauge with NANO?

Gearing up to install my first nitrous system on my car and going to be using NANO. According to the NANO instructions the nitrous will hit the noid at 950psi when in the proper temp range and it also says this:
You can tell how much nitrous oxide is left in your nitrous oxide bottle by referencing the pressure gauge on the side of your NANO bottle. Although not a direct gauge, the amount of pressure drop in this cylinder is directly proportional to the use of nitrous oxide in your nitrous oxide bottle. Use your NANO pressure gauge to approximate the amount of nitrous oxide left in your nitrous bottle. (It’s accuracy assumes you properly filled your NANO Cylinder to 4500 psi and nitrous oxide bottle to its rated weight at the same time).
When you first turn on your NANO System the NANO bottle pressure will immediately drop to about 4100 PSI as the system stabilizes. This is the reference pressure showing when your bottle is full. If you have a 10lb nitrous bottle, your NANO gauge will show about 1200 PSI when you have used up the available liquid nitrous (one lb left).
So do I really need to use a nitrous gauge as long as I keep the nitrous bottle in the proper temp range?

Thanks.

Its nice to know info, not really necessary unless you need to troubleshoot...or to evaluate AFR if your datalogging.

I would. You may want to know what the pressure is out of the car or you may not have the NANO hooked up.

They are a pretty inexpensive deal.

OK, sounds like a gauge is the way to go. I'm trying to keep the gauges to a minimum so I might use an in line gauge after the filter so I could still see it from in the car but if I get a remote gauge is it ok to put the sending unit right before the noid?

You sure can, its kinda nice to know what your bottle pressure is even before you open the bottle if its in the valve itself. Saves you a bad run if pressure is too low to even try. Unless you prepared for that....for non-track runs anyway.

wait, I didnt say that. We need a smiley with a light bar on it lol.

on a hot day if the nitrous bottle is left in the car with the nano hooked up, you will be well above 950psi. you will really want that pressure gauge.

yep, pressure can and will go higher then 950psi on hot days. Somtimes too high to use IMO. For the price of a mechanial inline gauge its stupid not to do one but thats just me.

Yes we always recommend a pressure gauge.

I agree with all statements a gauge really is still needed...
