First Time Nitrous on the Track...Updated 12/3/11
This was a NA launch and hit the nitrous about half way through 1st gear. By the time i was able to dial in launching on nitrous my bottle was spent. I am pretty sure if i hook good on a nitrous launch i will be into the 6s. I had 1 7 flat 1 7.1 and 2 7.2 and 2 or 3 7.3s and when i did not get traction i was in the 7.5s and i drifted have way down the track on my first NA run haha did not have time to let tire pressure out.
low 60s out and 2500DA
150 shot

Here is the video from todays 1/4 mile track day. I still could not get traction launching on the nitrous so this is engaging nitrous at about 30-40ft. I will be getting a progressive controller when i get my roll cage since i got kicked off today haha and because of that, this was my one and only chance to run all out so i did not really get to dial it in and there was a 40mph head wind with gust of 60 all day
Fastest run of the day for me 10.9 at 124. There are 2 runs on this video the first is my buddy Matt in the Black Zo6 and then it is me. Enjoy

I am launching at about 2800-3000k. I am not sure on the weigh but it is not light, with the extra suspension parts and the huge stereo in the car i would guess 3800 but i am going to have it weighed soon, plus i race it with the 17 " TT2s which weigh a ton too

Car is looking good, keep up the practice and lose the heavy 17s. Car will dip into 10s easily with a few adjustments. Upon the times you have at this point i dont think ur in the 10s yet though. For wat its worth I made a pass on a 100 shot at KCIR and ran 11.03@125 with a 1.62' and my car weighs 3660.

What he said......
With a good 60 on motor your combo on motor should be close to those #s IMO. I would think low 7s on motor and mid 6s on the spray once you get the launch dialed in.

yea i was not able to get to many good launches because of the balding 555rs but i am sure as is i could get into the 6s if i launch on the nitrous and with my MT i have now i am sure i will be able too. I have the Eibach pro springs and bilstein shocks not the greatest for drag racing hahah but like i said above this is a street car and i am not at the point yet where i want to make this a drag car. I have two batteries in the car a heavy as **** front sway bar and a custom stereo in the back alot of extra weight which is keeping my numbers a little high for my set up.
Also i dont know what times it does N/A i have not ran it N/A with this current set up yet I will on Saturday though. I will be making alot of NA runs so i can stay racing since the track i am going to enforces the roll bar rule at 11.49 or faster. I will make a nitrous run on the last run of the day and maybe a few 1/8 on nitrous and then let up.
Yank ss3600 stall and 3.73 gears
