Nitrous sputtering and not working correctly... PLZ HELP! (UPDATE PROBLEM FOUND!!!)
Alright so if you look in the srk section I went tonight to go race an 04 cobra that I previously raced. Anyways during the races my n20 will hit and I start to pull and than the damn car starts acting like it is missfiring. It feels kinda like the solenoid is opening and closing really quickly. Every race was the same it would hit and I would pull and than it would "sputter" like the nitrous was going off and on and he would pull.. Over and over like that. Everytime it hit and didn't sputter I would start to pull.
Things I thinkg could be wrong....
1. My window switch is f'ing up and making the solenoid open and close...
2. I have something clogging my line or solenoid not letting the n20 or fuel flow like it should.
3. The n20 is making my plugs misfire or not fire?
4. My fuel pump for some reason is not wanting to support the fuel to match the 100 hp anymore and is giving up on me.
I can't think of anything else. It never did this before the window switch so tonight i am going to check all my lines and solenoids to make sure nothing is in them and than I'm going to take the window switch out and do a couple pulls without it and see if it could be the problem...

I know it sounds stupid, but when's the last time you changed the fuel filter? I ran into the same issue before where a clogged filter made it fall on it's face at about 4500. Shut it down, checked everything and tried again, same result. After some time tracing it, I replaced the fuel filter and bam, no problem. Just a thought.

I experienced the same thing. checked things over, hunted and hunted. Turned out to be a loose ground. Something as simple as that and it plagued me for days!

Sounds like the window switch .if it ran fine before and you changed something and now it is messing up,well just take it of and see it the issues clears up.it my just be something with the install of the switch.

x2. try it without the window switch and i bet you it will work.either you have an F'ed up switch or you didnt wire it properly.but please try it with out the window switch and please report back.i would like to know if it fixes it.im close to installing my setup which involves a MSD digital switch.

sounds like the msd is giving you some trouble. Try its with just the WOT switch on and see if you have the same problem. If you have the problem still let us know. We should be able to help you out.
