I picked up a used refill station from a local shop. Now I need a connection on where to get a mother bottle from. All the local welding supply places want a crazy amount for leasing the bottle not making it worth it.Prices near buy were 5.50 last time I checked but the prices might have gone up by now.Would be great if someone could point me in the right direction. Willing to drive to NJ,PA,CT,NY. Thanks for any info on this

I use Air Gas. Not sure if you have one in your are or not but I get it for about $2/lb.

I called around to some local speed shops and one place wants 7bucks a pound and ecs wants 7.25 a pound. These's guys are nuts

There is no choose by state directory on this but you might try this site. I've used it before to locate companies that can sell mother bottles.

I get mine through Haun. Very good luck with them if you can get a commerical account.

Can't get a commerical account, and they want a extra 300 bucks for the deposit. So the search continues

I ran into the same problem trying to get mine. Just kee calling anywhere and everywhere that has or can get gasses. Sometimes you can get lucky and have someone that will add you to their account, otherwise you have to pony up and set up your own.
