what RPM do you engage your nitrous?
What RPM do you turn your nitrous on for track use? We have a 2004 Corvette that runs 11.50s with a 1.50 60' with bolt-ons. 3.90 gear, Yank SS4000, Hoosier DOT drag radials, ... We've installed a Nitrous Outlet wet plate kit and plan to spray it right out off the line as we're trying to maximize our ET. The car seems to work best when you leave from an idle and flash it. I'll be going to the tuner soon to check the AFR, etc. and make sure we are turning it off before each shift but don't have an idea where to turn it on? I'm thinking around 3800 so that it is on from the hit but need advice.
Thanks.
Scott

What rpm are you guys shifting your cars at with the ss4000. Everytime I've talked to Dave@Yank (I think) he says my shift extension will be to high with the ss4000 an 100-150 shot. I have the SNS stage 3 cam and will shift around 6800-7000rpm.

I just run a bolt-on car and don't shift nearly as high as you but am going to have Phil do a set of 243s and also run the SNS Stage III cam in the very near future. How do you like that cam?

My understanding was that the SS4000 liked nitrous but the PT4000 would have shift extensions that were too high.

You will like the AI 243s, I've only seen good stuff about them. I had TEA port mine and they were awesome to work with, so that is another place you could check out. I like the cam so far, I've had no drivability issues with it and it pulls hard. I'm actually having to DD the car at the moment. Once the weather gets a little better, ill dyno it and take it to the track hopefully.

[QUOTE=97camaro383;18061443]I have the ss3600 now and when I asked Yank about restalling it to 4000 he said to leave it alone. He said my shift extension would be to high. I've seen several people spraying on the ss4000 though. My ss3600 is to tight for my liking.
Yank told me the same thing.. Guess we can't have best-of-both-worlds
Current WS settings 3500-6300

[QUOTE=ragtopz28;18061500] I've talked to FTI about a convertor and Greg recommended me a 3800. Yank said they could also make my yank a ss3800 that would work
