Default Who runs a nos plate?

I'm currently running a NOS plate kit and ran into a problem. Ive been spraying the car with 150 for a few years now with a best of 9.92 @ 134. So I decided to put 200 pills in the car. I seen absolutely no gain besides my 60ft going from a 1.33 to a 1.26. Can anyone give me an idea to why I'm not seeing any gains mph wise???? Afr is perfect and plugs look clean.. I'm really considering putting a new plate and solenoid s on it also. So I'd like to hear some suggestions on who I should go with and why. Thanks everyone

This is the actual kit I'm running nowhttp://www.jegs.com/i/NOS/741/05168/10002/-1?CAWELAID=1710845035&CAGPSPN=pla&catargetid=23000 6180000848964&cadevice=m&gclid=CJL71dCC8MACFUVo7Ao dl1sAYw

I have the same plate on my car, tried 200 shot and it worked okay. You may have some other restriction leading to the plate, I had redone a lot of the system prior to making those hits. The system is pretty much at its flow limits in my opinion no matter what NOS says. I like that plate much better at 150, my buddy's Trans Am that I set up after using a Nitrous Outlet plate hits harder and seems to really live up to its flow potential.

I agree it hits hard at the beginning but doesn't pull like it should. Like I said the only improvement I had between the 2 shots was my 60ft went from a 1.33 to a 1.26. I should of picked up atleast 3 maybe 4 mph on the big end right?

I'll have to see what nitrous outlet says. Hopefully they can chime in and give me some advice. I'd love to run there kit and see how much I pick up..

What size is your main feed line and the line from the nitrous noid to the plate?

There are a few things that effect the hit like the size of the line and the length.

I agree with the above on the -3 lines "may" be the problem.

Its most likely the -3 line. I had the same issue even with my Nitrous Outlet plate (bought it used and it came with a -3 line from the noid to the plate). I switched it to a -4 and it solved the problem. But definitely get rid of that NOS plate. Nothing compares to a Nitrous Outlet plate in my opinion.

Change out the -3 line to a -4 first to see if that fixes your problem.

I wouldn't spend money on another plate if you don't have to..

So a -3 line is only good up to a 150 shot?

-3 line isn't the problem. What jets are in it? How much flowing fuel pressure? You've had the same kit on the car for a few years?

On the jegs website it shows that system is adjustable from 100-150HP. The solenoids/plate may not be able to flow 200hp.

It would be worth it to switch from the -3an line to a "race" hose which is essentially a -4an line with a -3an nut on the side going to the plate. What solenoids and size main feed line are you running? You might be able to squeeze 200 out of that plate but it would be worth it to switch to ours. It will make better numbers on the same jetting and flow well beyond 200HP.

That plate has cheater solenoids. The system will flow over 200hp worth of nitrous.

Yeah but back cylinders are real rich compared to the front. I really just hate it with a passion. Put it this way yesterday I went back to the track I went from a 63 jet to an 81 jet no gains at all. Same mph same et.. I also used a completely full bottle each pass

The -3an line from the solenoid to the plate will max out around 175hp
