Default How often to rebuild solenoid

how often should these be rebuilt is it every x years or is based on uses? I feel like I have seen for progressive control do it every year but what about normal use?

Not sure but my single nozzle wet kit is about 12 years old, works like a charm, and the selonoids have never been rebuilt

If you're using a progressive - every year at the longest.

I do mine every 50 passes. You would be amazed how the seat looks.

It would be best to at least look them over every yr but some have never checked them out and their kits are still running fine. With a progressive I'd suggest at least looking them over twice a yr. The biggest factor on determining a rebuild is how big a dimple the piston has in it.

You want to inspect your solenoids a few times throughout the year, and if you are suffering any performance loss with your nitrous system. Solenoids are extremely simple, and generally the only thing you would need to ever replace is the plunger and spring.

What would be nice for the new guys is a sticky, or at least a thread they can search for, from the pros with pics to show what they're looking for, what's good and what's bad and disassembly/reassembly. I would do it but I only have one set of noids and they are new.
