Default ideal location for wet nozzle on intake piping

So far searches have mentioned how far away from the throttle body to mount the nozzle for a wet system and that the best location is for the nozzle to point at the center of the throttle body. However those 2 bits of information conflict with each other in my situation.
-Suggestions have been 18-24" from the throttle body but that would put the nozzle way down low and out of view from the throttle body. Please help me out here.

Is the red blob I drew the ideal location? I will be using the NX proton plus kit with the shark nozzle as in the picture.

In your case I'm not really sure, but on mine it goes right into the bellow, and it's a straight shot to the TB from there

I agree with HCI2000SS. As close to the throttle body as you can get it.

I just called N.E. and they said 3 to 6 inches from the throttle blade. They said aiming at the center of the throttle body itself is almost impossible so as long as it's pointing towards the tb as in the nozzle outlet. Seems simple enough

Bingo!

But............. The best location if you have to room would be the same place as the red just on the other side of the tube near the radiator hose.

Looks like a tight one but I'll see how it all looks for room when I mock everything up in summer. Thanks again.

Mine's not too far off from your setup. Drill your hole just off the inside radius of the tube, and don't be afraid to notch the coupling a bit like mine.

Ok and just to confirm, it seems like you guys are recommending the nozzle be placed lower down on the same length in the pipe as opposed to the top of the intake pipe, in the context of both being the same distance from the throttle plate but the lower location is ideal. Is this because placing it up top like my red line doesn't distribute the mix as well especially considering this is a truck intake (so it's taller)?

I went for mid-line in height mostly because it's easier to eyeball if it's pointed straight at the throttle blades or not. I wouldn't place it where you marked because you want to get it closer to the throttle blades and try to get it on a straighter piece of pipe to avoid spraying the walls of the intake tube. You want to shoot it straight down the middle of the pipe... But...I'm not an expert...
