Default BIG THANKS to Nitrous Outlet l NEW PB 4/9/2016

Just had my first outing on the stinger plate. Only thing I can say is WOW!!! That is the hardest and cleanest hitting plate I have every used. Awesome product, customer service, tech support, and price was well worth it. Everything worked as advertised with absolutely NO problems.

Thanks to AJ and Brandon who helped a lot along the way.

First time out with the small jets and a real conservative tune put me in the 9's on my pump gas 402ci.

So, just pulled it off the dyno. On motor it made 509, and on 150 jets it made 712. 203RWHP increase. 29.8 degrees of timing on nitrous, C16 in the dedicated, 93 in the tank, BR7EF plugs at .028. Stinger Plate.

Curious as to what jetting and fuel pressure you were using.

I used .062 nitrous / .046 fuel which is the jet for 7psi. I had the dedicated fuel pressure at just under 8 psi for safety.

I love the Stinger Plate, distribution is better than all spray bars I've tried and on par with a good Cross Bar. Your jetting is way on the fat side IMO but I'd baby step it and give it what the plugs say.

ie- on my 408 with a 62n jet I ended up with a 38f jet and 5.25# of fuel pressure and it was still a tad rich.

My plugs actually came out almost perfect. I did have the fuel pressure a tad to high but I was just trying to be safe. It likes the jetting it has in it, that and trying to run almost 30 degrees timing on spray I wanted to make sure it ran cool.

Sounds like your learning your setup and using C16 on a pump gas LS2 allows much more timing than you would if you had a high comp engine, nice work and great results.... just be careful with that timing, its not very forgiving!!

Thanks, I'm going to try to bump NA timing to 38 degrees on pump gas and see if I cant make any more power but it seems to be happy at 29.8 on the jug. Plugs looked great, so we'll take it to the track and see what happens.

Are you sure your reading your plugs correctly, thats a lot of timing. We dont even run that much timing NA (29.8) on 99% of the cars we tune muchless on nitrous.

I've been running 35.8 degrees NA on pump gas for almost a year and a half on the same set of plugs and NA they looked perfect. (maybe even a touch on the rich side).

That plug looks to have a decent amount of heat. With the base ring sooted like it is would worry me. Was it idled at all? If so, it's worthless. I always figure out which cylinder is hottest and then I use a new plug on each pull and shut it off at WOT. Same at track, shut it off going thru the traps and pull plugs on the return road or tow back. This one by looks could've used a little more timing, however when I added timing the MPH dropped.

Went 9.57 @ 145.44 last night with a 1.36 60'. Still on the 150 jets. Then snapped both sets of U-joints on the driveshaft on the last pass of the night.
