Enough Timing Pulled?
I want to run a 75 shot. On 91 octane.
If I use the ol timing tricker, and run tr6 plugs, would this be safe or ballsy?
iirc the ballpark is usually 2 degrees base, then another degree per 50 right?
Stock cam, 241 heads, 3200 stall converter, built trans.

Stock tune so far. 2002 ls1 f body. The "timing tricker" should pull 3 on stock tune. I could probably find some 93 for when I wanna spray if need be.

Yea...I know it's ghetto, but it seems to work from what I read

No I agree...it does the job for the fraction of the cost. I know a few guys using them and they've worked just fine. But if it were me I'd run the br7 plugs just to be safe.

Oops, typo. I meant br6's. I've read that a 6 heat range is good for under 100 shot, and above that you should go with a 7. Car will still be mainly street driven and only be under spray when the pesky pony next to me is just a little to close for comfort.
Considering that it's street driven, would you still recommend a 7 or is it going to be too cold? Or maybe just switch to 7's on race day for that extra vote of confidence safety wise
