Default N2O solenoids chatter once

They chatter once and will not work on second attempt. I have to turn the ignition off and back on for them to activate again. wot switch and a thumb switch on the shifter. What do I need to check. Nitrous is off while doing this. The purge works ok ,its on its own relay.

Try switching the n2o and purge relays and make sure grounds are good and secure. I chased a similar problem for 2 days and it ended up being the relay. It would test out fine with a test light but as soon as some real curent went through it it wouldnt work.

The fuel safety switch should not be run on the ground for your solenoids. Run it off the 85 terminal on your relay.

Thanks for the replies. I think the solenoids are staying open and that's why there is no repeat engagement until ignition is turned off. I will try your suggestions.

I would recommend putting an interrupt relay into there so that the nitrous and 2-step can't come on at the same time. You will just use a 5 pin relay and wire it up like a trans brake interrupt. If you tried to activate the 2 step with the nitrous armed, you're going to have a mess on your hands.

You may need to adjust the FPSS if it works fine while unplugged. What may be happening is the FPSS is set to a point at which the pressure drop on the rails when the solenoid opens causes the FPSS to open and kill the power.
