Default NXL track results

Anyone have any results.

I dropped about .5sec with the 120 shot but I was low on nitrous and the computer was pulling an additional 3-4° of timing over the timing I pulled out.

What should the results be for a 120 shot and what are you guys seeing that have the NXL kit? I am considering going with something a little less safe but that I can get a true hp shot from what they claim.

Why is the NXl kit like this anyone know? Sounds wierd, I wouldn't think that NX would release a product that didn't show results.

Also any wideband runs. Maybe it is excessivly lean. Maybe the air and fuel are not atomizing well at certain jettings. this would explain the timing being pulled from knock dduring your runs. This is very intresting, anyone getting advertised results?

I was having the same problems, underrated HP ratings, poor track performance, A/F tuning was nightmare.
I have been working with another member of PM's, he was having the same A/F problems. I tried all kinds of different jet combos, and was either too rich or too lean.
Dont get me wrong, NX makes excellent stuff, so I am going with the MAF kit. They could have done more R&D on the NXL kit. I am sure they will have "another" fix for it.

For comaprison I have the MAF kit jetted for 100 which uses a 52 N2o jet, which is more like a 125 shot. But I picked up 8mph (93 n/a to 101) and .6 on the ET in the 1/8. ET would have been better but the car was spinning pretty bad off the line. A/F was 10.9-11.3 with a 31 fuel jet. Timing at 25 degrees, 22 peak torque.

Thats an easy 10mph gain in the 1/4 mile.

I have the kit and have been experimenting with different pill combinations. I think it is a good kit, but the NX pill recommendations are just a starting point. I am hoping to see good results with some more tuning and a new fuel pump. You have to remember this is a fairly new kit. It is still a good trade off between spraying wet and full direct port. And then again maybe I am just being optimistic.

Only problem I see with the NXL is unless you can adjust the fuel pressure easily, jets for 'experimenting' with a 1200.00 DP nitrous kit gets pretty expensive. I like the concept of the NXL and still want to try one, mostly because it looks cool

I can adjust fuel pressure VERY easily since my regulator is in the engine bay but that isnt the issue I dont think

I think any fogger system should have its own regulator for tuning issues. It might be easier to work in the 5-10psi range. I think with the high pressure and the fogger jetting can be a hit or miss on a bigger fogger setup like this. Anyone run this setup with a low pressure regulator for the nitrous?

11.4@122 on the spray but again not a full bottle and the engine temps were 235ish with 3-4° of knock retard

11.8 @117 off the bottle
