150 Shot on Stock Timing?
My 'vette is basically stock. Cold air intake and exhaust mod is really all. I have a 125 wet shot using TR6's now. Is it possible/advisable to run the 150 jets with the stock tune?

when i dyno'ed mine on the 150, we saw 3* of knock reported with 0* of retard. and that was all stock except for champion rc9yc plugs and GM red wires. i'm up to 200 now on stock programming. i now have the SLP airlid and QTP cutout. best of 11.97 @ 118 before cutout. 13.60 stock NA.

Was that on DR's or slicks? Stick or auto? Spraying out of the hole?
I'm trying for 11.99 with a 'run what you brung' setup. Whether this is realistic or not I'm not sure yer. I have Kumho non-run flats 275/40/18 and a RAM 402/980. I haven't raced the RAM yet but with the stock clutch the best I could muster was a 2.00.

I run 11.6s on a 255/50/16 DR w/the 150. 11.9s with the 75.
My 60' times are high 1.6 to low 1.7.
Lid,Cutout and converter.
I think Unit ran his time with the stock converter and Kumho tires (which is pretty impressive actually)

You could always put in a few gallons of 100 octane for peace of mind.
