correct if im wrong. but an engine with a power adder usually does better with low compression. i no of several guys running bottle on 12to1 compression motors and they r living. but u dont get near the gain on the bottle with high compression. u have better motor time but on the bottle u lack a little bit

Robert is right. In my old setup I ran 12.5:1 spraying a direct port 300 shot over 25 times. Never a problem. Nitrous and high compression, a match made in heaven!

Static comp ratio 10.5:1/11:1 about max on 93 octane. But also depends on heads (porting) and camshaft. 11:1 might be pushing it thought for a good street car, I know there are guys running higher, but many considerations take place when running HC on street.

I believe you are thinking of a supercharger/turbo. As long as you have the octane to keep up with it, nitrous is great with higher comp.

Yes nitrous and compression go hand and hand. We just built a buddies motor a couple of months ago and he is running 14.5 to 1 compression with 300 worth of bottle, yes he has to run 118 octane, but the car runs like a champ.

We sprayed 600 on an 15:1 motor and didn't have any problems.

Fuel, fuel, fuel. Nitrous loves compression but you have to have the fuel for it. You can pack all the air in the motor you want to but without enough fuel your looking for problems.
