Default Disappointed w/ Nitrous numbers

Had my ws6 on the dyno today and ran 375 rwhp NA, then ran 445 rwhp w/ 150 wet shot. I'm thinking w/ 150 shot, I should have put down 500+ rwhp. The jet size was #62 (N2) and #33 (fuel). This should be the full 150 shot.

I running stock injectors. I'm thinking this may be the problem. Probably need 42# injectors along w/ a high pressure fuel pump. What do you guys think?

Fuel pump and injectors can't hurt. The nitrous system is prolly placing to much of a strain on the stock pump. I would look into that before the injectors. If you can find someone with a scan tool, you can check the duty cycle on the injectors to see if they are being over worked.

Hey Beast 96Z.....I noticed in your mod list you've got the Bogart wheels. When I get some 15" rims and slicks I'm thinking about Bogarts. I heard that you don't have to grind the calipers when you use Bogarts which is the reason I want them. Just don't want to pay the $$ for them. But I'd rather that than grind the crap out of my calipers.

How do you like your Bogarts?

Your injectors should be fine since you have a wet kit.

What was your A/F like on that run?

Do you have a bottle heater?, if so check the pressure.

NX 150 shot (wet kit)

I took the jets out today to make sure they didn't get switched around.

They are correct. #62 for N2 and #35 for fuel. I also took the nozzle out and made sure it wasn't clogged. Everything checked out ok.

I also am running about 900 psi bottle pressure. I know it's alittle low, but shouldn't make that much difference.

I am stumped. Any ideas would be appreciated.

you should have hit an easy 500.i went from 383 to 513 with my nx maf wet kit and that was with 6* timing took out and richened up to 12:0.stock pump also.1050 psi pressure.you definitely have a problem, check your a/f ratio next time and timing.it could be pulling time but still should have picked up 100 +.

You would be amazed what a difference bottle pressure makes. Try going up to ~1000 next time (I run mine at 1050-1100), and re-dyno. Remember, the pressure drops down quite a bit once you hit the spray.

Yes, something's wrong. With .052 jets (100 shot) on my NX MAF kit, I picked up 99 rwhp with stock manifolds, cats and closed exhaust. My bottle pressure was only 900 psi (since I don't have a heater yet).

You may be a little rich.NX is now using 62/33 for the 150 shot.
You really need to know the air fuel.

I'll take a stab here - I'd suggest you get a meter and find out how much power you're getting to the solenoids. You'd be surprised how low voltage will run the 'noids but not fully open.

You know, I thought about that today.....could be my solenoid being the restriction for some reason. Also, I probably shouldn't rule out my pressure gage being off (too high) reading 900 when it could be less....
