Default Ok try this again.. WHAT PILLS FOR 100-150 SHOT

I've got the Nitrous Oxide Systesm Universal Wet kit.. Its a damn good kit and it comes with the big solenoids good for a 300shot. Also comes with the stainless pills and a fogger A-nozzle. I'm trying to figure out exactly what size shot I've been spraying.

The pills are 55 on the nitrous and 33 on the gas if I remember correctly. I think that is right around a 125 shot but I'm not 100% sure. The instructions dont really tell which pills do what cause its a universal kit and it all depends on the fuel pressure that your car has.

So what size jets are you guys running with your wet kits from NOS?

those numbers just dont quite look right to me.. it said a 47 nitrous jet for a 100 shot. isnt that the same jet used in a dry kit for a 100 shot? i dont know, but are the nitrous jets the same in both a wet kit and a dry kit? cause i didnt think they were..

Call the manufacturer, it's the easiest and fastest way to get the right answer for your manufacturers kit as they are all not the same.

Yes a single nozzle dry or wet will use about the same sized jet for the same amount of power. Alot of people have used that chart as a referance with good results.

Yeah I just talked to a friend of mine and he used that chart for his 5177 kit.. Looks like I've got the correct Nitrous jet in it but need to change the fuel jet. I've got the 33 in it and it says so use the 29. 33 is basically the fuel jet for a 150 shot.. But, I was tryin to be safe with the 33 jet to run it a lil rich cause the car had never been tuned at all.. Its been tuned now so I can go down a few sizes and see if it picks up..

I dyno'd the car Saturday and it only picked up 100rwhp on the spray..

NOS kits are rated at the flywheel not the wheels. 100 on a 125 shot is good with NOS. If you want a kit that puts out what it advertises, get a NX kit (or TNT).

Yeah, I would pick up a 29 & 30 jet, maybe even a 31 (or you could probrably just get a 29 & 31). If your dyno has a wideband I would start with the 30-31 and see how things look. Every car is alittle different, I even had to rejet my TNT alittle to fatten it up.

I bought a 30 fuel jet today.. I'll put it in this weekend and take her for a spin and see how it acts.. It should be ok.

I've never heard that NOS advertises flywheel numbers... And a few buddies that have the 5177 kit have the 100 shot jets in and they got anywhere from 95-105hp gain at the wheels.

If you do more research on these boards and talk to people you will soon find that NOS is flywheel, NX and TNT are wheel. I believe NOS will even tell you their kits are rated at the flywheel.

I'll stick with NOS.. NX is good stuff, but I wouldnt trust a TNT kit.. Heard way to many bad things about them and their jetting.

So if I look up a NX 125 shots jet sizes and put that in my NOS kit then it will actually do 125 to the wheels? That doesnt make any sense..

The different manufacturers just use different jet sizes at there hp ratings. An nx kit doesn't make more hp than a nos kit with the same exact jet sizes installed. Nx's 150hp jets are just slightly bigger than nos's.

Default Nos

My NOS wet kit from NOS has the jets as follows:

Fuel NOS
32 51 100 hp
35 55 125 hp
38 63 150 hp

I'd like to up the jets also.
