BMN RPM Window Switch Questions!
Hi, fellas. I just got my BMN rpm window switch in. It's the next to the last thing I need to complete the installation of my system, the last being the remote bottle opener which is still on backorder.
Anyway, I'm looking at the instructions for the switch and I have a few questions, mostly C5-specific.
1. Where do I find the brake light wire they are talking about?
2. Where did you mount the window switch in your C5?
3. How did you route the wire from the PCM's tach wire to the switch?
Thank you!

Fbody here, but I can give you some ideas.
I mounted my BMN unit on flat visible surface hidded under dash using Scotch brand permanent adhesive velcro strips (Walmart). I have enough slack in my wiring to remove it for adjustment if I need to.
F bodies brake light switch is activated by brake pedel under dash. It is a button activated switch with a BLUE and ORANGE wire leading to it. Connect to the BLUE switched side wire. Do not connect to the ORANGE wire, it is hot all the time. Maybe the Corvette uses the same color brake switch wiring as F body.

The BMN is a really trick piece, I was going to go with it, but decided to use what I allready had.

2. I mounted my (2) on the outside of the battery box surround plastic (pic in web). Some mount it in glove box.
3. Can access wire from comp. Remove pass front tire and then inner liner (6-screws) which comes right out. There is the comp with two plugs. Plastic covers over plugs snap off. You want wire #10 and it is white, on lower connector. Can see the numbers if ya look close, only one with this number/color. I used a wire tap and ran it up behind battery, real easy.

However, for a more cost-effective option, we are making them from either light gauge sheetmetal or polished aluminum. The first is available so it can be painted to match your car. They are also available with TPS, Relay and W/S already mounted complete with weather-pack connectors (just like factory). Let me know if you'd like one.
They are very nice as you can mount 3 or 4 devices and they are all hidden without cluttering up your interior or glove box.
