I have mine set at 6400, my shift light at 6300 and redline at 6800, so with all that about 400 below redline.

Good question. I haven't set mine up yet so what's a good starting point? My T/A has stock shift points. What do you all recommend for the low side and high side?

No, before rev limiter. So if your stock, it's about 6,200rpm, you would set it at 6,000rpm. You don't want the nitrous to turn off 200rpm before you shift.

If you're trying to keep your a4 alive you do.
FWIW I had mine at 6600, shifts at 6700. Then I bypassed that POS and dropped .4 sec from et and gained 4 mph.

If you don't want to spray through the shift 200rpm before the shift point is the sweet spot. 300rpm is to early and 100rpm is to late.

If your running a stock tranny I would not spray through unless your planning a rebuild in the near future. My stocker is still doing just fine not spraying through.

I don't understand why some guys want their nitrous turning on, shutting off, turning on, shutting off,... during a run. My shift light is set at 6000, N2O on is 3000 and off at 6200. Rev limiter is set at 6800. The most improtant thing is to make sure there is a safe distance between your turn off RPM and Rev limiter RPM. No problems so far... except traction , but 500+tq will do that on street tires. Actually its kinda fun going sideways shifting from 2nd - 3rd gear.

Because spraying through can be hell on a 4l60.
