Default GM High Tech Perf./Jan 06 Issuse, all about N20

Just curious if anyone else has read the jan issue of GM high tech performance. Almost the entire issue is about Nitrous on LS1/LS2/LT1, there are some really nice cars in there and was wondering if they belonged to anyone on the board. Congrats to Dave(nitrous outlet), Harris Speed Works, TnT and others they talk about their companys and kits . Also there is a decent article for N20 newbies. Just got it and am still reading.

Not really my 02 SS stock w/ lid dynoed 320.1 to the wheels(not bs) everyone at the dyno day said it was kind of high. So with a 125 shot I could easily see 425 RWHP on a 01 WS6. Plus I don't remember if they mentioned what dyno they used but I'm sure it wasnt a mustang dyno.

Yeah the 1/4 times do seem fast but I'm sure there drivers are real good. I have an 02 issue of "Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords" and there driver got an 02 SS to run 12.9 stock with only the use of VHT. I forgot what track there were at but I was really impressed. I still have the mag somewhere I really liked seeing "If you race an 2002 SS Camaro in your cobra you'll see nothing but tail lights" or something along those lines. Kind of a neat article I used to throgh in my ford buddy's face's that came from a ford mag, well until the 03 cobra came out

This issue is what finally made me grow a pair and buy a nitrous kit. Once I read it I finally felt comfortable about using nitrous myself.

Great issue...see who they hand picked for their excellent knowledge to co-write acrtcles. NX looks great. I think some other vendors around here are jealous and showing their asses over it...I hope i'm wrong...that would be childish. Hey to your post...I await Rick Jensen to provide us with the slip to show the whole story. All in all looks okay!!

when i put my system in i had exhaust and lid street tires and ran a 12.2- 12.3 at 121 with 150 shot isee they had 125 but still . he had a fast 90 ,lid direct port , and im sure a tune which i didnt. I wouldnt think me having LTs would make that big of diff.

Later on in the mag *page 44* it said the WS6 was running low 13's n/a. So I would think a 125hp shot would do better than high 12's.

if he was running stock tires and had a no traction it possable.. with my run flats and a 100 shot (5177) i got a 12.76@115 with a 2.2 60'. if the launch was worse and spun more then i did it seems logial..
