Question about problem with TNT install with aftermarket air lid....? please help???

Default Question about problem with TNT install with aftermarket air lid....? please help???

I am installing a TNT F1 kit on my ls1 T/A..... i have an aftermarket air lid and my maf slides directly onto it.... now when i installed the ring onto the throttle body i cant install the lid because the maf is in the way...

has anyone ru n into this problem??? any solutions? i have the stock style bellows.... please help...i am trying to install this asap!!

you have to do some "trimming" to make everything fit. have to cut some of the lid ( trim down the neck of the lid so it brings the maff closer to the front of the car) and the bellows. everything will fit just fine after you trim it.

i was afraid of that...i just had the air lid painted with flames on it... anyone have smooth bellows they wanna get rid of??? or know where to find some?

I used a fernco hose for a smooth bellows, you can find them at home depot and lowe's.

I decided not use the ring on my setup. I am about 20 minutes away from you and have the TNT set up if you would like check it out.

I have their systyem and was able to just cut my bellows to get the ring to fit on. Didn't touch my lid. It's really pretty easy.

so where would i find that bracket for the solenoids?? install looks very nice.
