Default question about fogger

I have a question concerning a fogger. I have messed with all types of plate systems, single nozzle systems,, etc. My exp with foggers is limited. My question is this. How much of a difference would it be or how critical is solenoid location to a fogger. For instance. should the noids be connected to the dist blocks on a carb setup? or can you put the noids in a diff location and run a line from the noid to the dist block? I am having clearacne issues on a car tha I am working on so I though I would ask some questions before I move the noids....

It will work either way.
It works better the closer to the block it's mounted.

Like white said either way. Longer lines just mean a slightly longer time before power hits, a Tuning aid in my book. don't worry it'll work, and you can compansate for longer lines by having activation point a little lower. I do this often, a poor mans window switch.
