I think they just added a small amout not enough to hurt any thing I have heard about them puting in ethenol to replace mtbe but i assumed they wouldnt just screw every one and use enough to make all the seals in the fuel system go to ****.

Also, nothing to do with piston swelling, but one of new englands top LS1 tuners, (slowhawk) is saying that he is cutting back on timing on all his tunes because of the ethanol too. He has a post about it in the eastern section.

Yep, crazy part is the nitrous hit normal with no detonation or anything then it started to feel alittle "flat". I look down and the O2s were reading .050mv. I can't believe the motor survived.

I just had a Problem with my NX Fuel Silonoid piston swell up causing a way to lean for comfort problem. Found out it probley caused by the ethonal in the fuel here in Houston. I switch to Race fuel just in case for now until they find a solution....

Yeppers, I have been hearing of more and more swelling issues. We should now be servicing noids a little more often? Ricky says that NX is working on a material which will be more compatible with ethanol and other coming/allready in place additives. Most of the country is now 10% ethanol, and talk on up coming new cars that will run on 80% ethanol. How that's going to work, who knows?
