I Hate the tnt power ring!
I can't believe how crappy the fitment of the power ring is. i ran the fernco mod for a while but got tired of it so i tried to put the ring on and it wasn't even close at all. so i trimmed my lid about a 1/2 inch and it still wasnt close. And when i tried to put my maf in the lid to test fit again my ****** lid broke. its a nice mti clear lid. Now i don't have a lid and i can't drive my car b/c of the POS power ring.

The Power Ring WILL fit and will even look very nice when all is said and done (not to mention that it makes great power). The key is patience and adjustment. I messed up a lid trimming it down, but I was able to make the replacement SLP lid fit with no cutting. Take your time and don't give up hope!

I have the K&N FIPK and my power ring fit perfectly. I love it. It looks so good and everything has a clean appearence. I just had to shorten the tubing that comes with the FIPK system a bit but took like 10 min to get everything just right.

I had alot of fitment issues as well. I do think it is a poor design at least for the f-body application. I fixed my fitment issues by trimming the lid and actually triming the radiator shroud directly under the MAF. Now everything lines up nice and tight. It took about 2 hours total of lining everything up and triming everything to fit correctly. Just take your time when you get a new lid and it will all work out and look real nice.
