Nitrous=Revenge Raced a 12 sec. GTP... Well finally got to test out the new HSW dry kit...called a guy with a GTP who runs mid 12's. His mods: Ported blower, cam, upgraded intercooler, smaller pulley, and some other stuff. He knew about my new mod.
We had raced when I first got my WS6 (cat-back only) a few months back and he used me up pretty bad in three straight races.
So we were at the gas station just before we took off to run em and he says he has 1/8 th of a tank race gas....and he looks at his car and says "ok i'm pulling out all the tricks and he takes off his front left headlight then says he's ready"
So we go to the highway and after merging on we both take our lanes and wait for traffic ahead to distance it's self. At about 50 mph he honks, third honk we take off he pulls about a car ahead of me through the initial gear. I start pulling back steadily and at "about" 70 i'm walking past him til I put about 2 cars on him when we shut them down around 100 or so.
This was on a 100 shot w/ stock intake. (I know stock lid = pretty lame...but I couldn't wait for my lid to arrive from Fed Ex)
We ran a 20 roll but he jumped me really bad and I spun like crazy so by the time I started to catch up we were out of road.

my buddy has a gtp that went 12.7s with ported heads, a cam, and a small pulley, no intercooler, and on street tires, and its pretty bad when i have to spray him to beat him when i was just boltons.
i would mph him but he had me midrange pretty good.
just get some mods under your belt and get a decent tiree so you can 60ft and he will be playing catch up all day even on motor

I remember when I met him it was at a gas station and he asked me if I wanted to run his Grand Prix....and I had to hold back my laughter which was tough but I didn't know people modded them and that they can be dang quick. When we did run I wasn't laughing anymore.

Nice...it's always fun to get some revenge on a car you've lost too. I've got a few of those I gotta take care of did you get the single nozzle or dual nozzle kit? I'm in process of deciding which to get.
