The only true way to tell is to weigh it. I am suprised you got it up to 1000 psi thou if it was that empty. Dave sells a controller that measures the amount left based on flow rate. I think that is still dependant on the quality of the fill.

Yea pressure based transducers will keep heating till empty, and no way to tell where your at pressure wise with out weighing. Yes, some controllers out ther with the feature to let ya know where your at. A temp based transducer that heats to a temp will let you know when your getting low. At 85° a bottle that won't heat past about 900psi means there is 2 to 3 pounds left and time for a refill.

This is exactly why I havent gone Nitrous in the past. BUT there is a fix for it. Get the NANO system. There is no heater. It uses compressed air or Nitrogen to push 100% of the nitrous out. This way there is no fluxuation in the end usage due to low pressure and you know exactly how many runs you can get out of it. My NANO is going on at Cartek right now.

You will love NANO. Tell the boys at Cartek i said hello. You dont need nitrogen, compressed air works better.

The "air" you are seeing is gaseous nitrous....as you use the liquid some must be converted to a gas to increase the pressure.

i was looking at that then i realized for it to be worth more then a fancy way to show bottle psi/ level i would still need to buy a $200 wideband.
