Depending on compression. I hit my 10.5:1 with 250 and stock head bolts.

with a very safe tune up you can probably do it with good head gaskets, but in your case i would say you need l-19 studs a set of fel pro mls's and tune it up some!!

i personally would not hit my car with head bolts with any spray or very little. id limit head bolts to 600-650 hp after that in my opinion your iffy

i used them on one motor and never had an issue. car made about 580 rwhp with a 125 shot.

Pushing into the cylinder can be very bad under load ,burn a cylinder or pistons and even worse case hydro lock and crack the block or heads .

what he said.

it can be as simple as a little water, or as bad as a hole motor
