lt1 bottom end yes.....put a colder plug in there...and make sure your timing is low....dont get greedy...timing(detonation) and heat(ringlands) will be the 2 thigns that will make it let go...
if i was you id break it up some though...the TQ spike from that shot will also be another bottom end killer....

Thats prolly the best bet...or break it up into 2 stages like also mentioned. The initial hard hit is whats rough on motors (any motor). If you can bring it on slowly or break it into 2 stages it gives you much better odds of it holding.

Make sure your ignition is up to snuff. Those lt1's are not known for good ignitions especially when you start to raise the cylinder pressure like that. But just like everyone here has said make it a progressive shot but that eats up solenoids or make it a 2 stage setup. Harris speedworks makes an awesome progressive controller give them a shout.
