Nice, looks like a different steering wheel in there too since i last saw the car. Any news with getting the motor issues sorted out? Also saw you are selling your headers and dual set up, what are you going to go with?

Haha... you like that 26.99/shipped, ebay special steering wheel? LOl... It's cheap but it looks better than the stocker did without the airbag, and it's super light weight.

Engine is coming along, I'm just waiting for parts yet again. Found out my Rollmaster double roller timing chain was stretched from the harmonic balancer being broken. That's probably what caused the PTV issues..... I cleaned up the pistons and radiused all the sharp edges on the valve reliefs. All the valves checked out ok, just needed to be re-faced so I lucked out there. Fixing the one head to stop the oil leaking problem, then I'll re-assemble them this week. Once the timing chain gets here I can start putting everything back together again. Checked all the engine bearings, including the cam bearings and they looked awesome!

I'd like to step up to a 1-7/8" header. At my power level I think the 1-3/4" primaries are becoming a restriction and it should pick up 5-15hp with the bigger headers. I'm looking at the TSP headers and then run the exhaust straight off the collector to a muffler and dump em' before the rear axle. I don't know,,,, if I can't sell my current stuff I'll probably have to wait on this......

Makes me want to turn the air shifter off in the mustang and pull that lever myself, least then I'm driving something faster than the six banger, lol. Running 10.0's is enough of an adrenaline rush though, yeesh. (speaking of which, it broke out in the 1/8 finally, time for chassis cert and me to get a license *grumble*)

Lol thats funny right there, I got nothing against the autos, esp stalled autos.

Mike I agree that that wheel does look better. That would be nice to get some larger headers for you, 1 7/8 or even 1 7/8 stepped to 2 would be really nice for your car, esp if you start spraying down the road. Good to hear that it is coming a long.

1 7/8 for sure! I would just leave those current headers off and get a set of those TSP's. Someone will buy those headers eventually...I will spread the word and see if I can find a buyer. How much do you want for them?

I think it is cool sticker. I know you're a die hard stick guy. I like them to, it is fun rowing the gears, but for the racing I do, I want consistancy and that is where the auto comes in at. Angii said to tell you that she has a real race car and it only has 2 pedals LOL. Hell for that matter top fuelers only have 1 aka the go pedal, no transmission, and a hand brake.

LOL,,,, you seem like you're taking it way too serious. It's a decal.... I simply prefer to row my gears and drive my car rather than just sit and steer it down a straight line. If I were bracket racing things would be a lot different and like Cody mentioned, an auto is the only way to go for pure consistency. Auto's have their place, just not in my car. FWIW, I hate bracket racing also.....

I've owned and driven my share of stalled auto's. Kinda different and boring, but that's just my opinnion. Jamie, I'll give you a ride in my car sometime when it's running again. Maybe then you will have a change of heart.....

Cody you can tell Angii she owns a real rail, it's not really a car.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I want 150.00 for the headers or 350.00 for the entire exhaust, headers to tips.
