Finnaly got my MMD!
for over a year now i have been working on getting my Merchant Mariner Credential, so i got an email yesterday from the USCG that i have been approved for an able body unlimited card. this means that i am the highest level deckhand and i can work on any boat/ship no mater how big or what tonnage. it will be here in ten days, at that point i can submit my credentail to the inland boatmans union and i will be dispatched from there. my buddy that is a unlimited makes about 7k/month, i dont know if thats how much i can make or not but i sure wont be poor old unemployed joseph any more.
