Default first startup

I dont really post in here much, but wanted to share my first startup. Its a rebuilt LQ9 .030 over, l92 heads, ls3 intake and injectors with a z06 cam 204/218. Once the exhaust is done I am taking it to speed secrets for a dyno tune. I had the base tune done by tunedbyfrost.

build thread over at the s10forum http://www.s10forum.com/forum/f213/l...-jimmy-464706/

I used an 06 GTO spectre intake. It worked better then the silverado since im running it to the drivers side.

thanks!

yea I know its small, hehe. Maybe a swap in the future. It initially started as a budget build and took off from there, I really didnt think about it until the heads and cam were on the block.

No plans for boost, it's just my toy. I know there is more power to be had with a different cam. I talked to patrick G and he gave me some cam specs.

Anyone ever get up to the Bellingham area or are from up here? I used an ls6 camshaft. Everyone stated I should need longer pushrods and to measure. I bought a comp cams tool, read and played with it. After I while I was confident I could do it I measured and came up with 7.35 after adding preload. After the exhaust was done, it is not bad outside, but there is a lot of valve train noise on the inside. I need a second opinion and a possible hand is measuring again. I can remove and install no problems, but my measuring skills seem to lack! Shoot me a pm if you can help and I will get you my phone number.

Forgot to add, dual 3" exhaust running converters, h-pipe and dynomax vt mufflers.
